  • Caution:
  • Before any service work on the belt is begun to be sure that the motor or engine is switched off and cannot be started.

 

  • Important:
  • Check for worn tensioners and idler pulleys. This is the best time to replace these part these parts if needed.

 

  • Belt Removal:
  • Loosen adjustment or pivot bolts.
  • Move adjustment unit to minimum position.
  • Remove belt.

 

  • Belt Installation:
  • Place new belt loosely on pulleys. Do not pry onto pulleys.
  • Tension belt according to manufacturer's instruction.
  • Run drive 5 minutes and retension. Belts must be tight enough to prevent slipping when drive is fully loaded.

  • Replacement of unit due to change of mind is not allowed. Only defective goods can be returned or exchanged.
