Fasten your seatbelts, the rainy season is here!

Living in a country where we only have two seasons – wet or dry, we ought to be prepared for both of them. And now, as the second half of the year begins, we give you the low down on the things you need to do when driving in the rain:

Increase your distance

Heavy rain may cause zero visibility so better make sure you give ample space between you and the cars around you.

Brake early with reduced forced

We all know how irritating it is when drivers brake with too much force. Aside from the fact that it’s super dangerous, it can also give us a bunch of muscle pains. This rainy is no exemption. In fact, it’s when we need to exert extra caution. So, don’t put too much force when stepping on the brake and brake early to avoid colliding with another car.

Slow down

As cliché as it may seem, this is the easiest and smartest thing to do when driving in the rain. Pavements will get slippery with the rainy season so always drive at a slow and steady pace.

Check your windshield wipers

Wipe your windows

You’ll need clear windows for you to drive safely. Even if they’re only a tiny bit foggy, it’s time to freshen them up with Blade’s microfiber cleaning cloth.
