The Modern Jeep Class 2 units were launched by Hyundai during the Negoshow Oro. This move were actually their opening salvo this 2020. This Negoshow Oro came right at Hyundai’s back-to-back Passenger Car dealership that launched in Angeles City, Pampanga, and Baguio.

During this event, 16 more transport cooperatives signed with HTB Calamba the MOUs for 1,708 units of the Modern Jeepney Class 2 and 570 units of the Modern Jeepney Class 3 or a total of 2,278 units.

DOTr (Department of Transportation) Assistant Secretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure Mark Steven Pastor said in his speech, “Ang inyo pong papel na gagampanan ay mahalaga at kritikal. Lalo na kayong mga car manufacturers atdealers, sapagkat sa inyo nakasalalay ang pagsunod sa kalidad ng bawat sasakyang ilulunsad natin sa ilalim ng programa. Dahil sa inyong suporta, hindi lamang tsuper ang natutulungan, nabibigyan din ng dagdag trabaho ang ating ibang kababayan.”
In the same event, the Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez also expressed her confidence by saying, “With this expo, I am confident that PUVMP’s objective to make our public transportation system efficient and environment-friendly will be realized. Naniniwala ako na ang teknolohiya at modernization ay magbubukas ng maraming oportunidad para sa ating bansa at mamamayan.”
During HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo’s part, she reiterated on the impact of Negoshow Oro on CALABARZON business, “It is fitting that Calamba City, the richest city in CALABARZON, be the first stop of Hyundai’s mobility expos for 2020. Negoshow Oro is a golden opportunity to raise the banner for Hyundai CV as the Partner in Every Way of Region 4-A…. At nais kong iparating sa DoTr Secretary na tuloy ang pagsuporta ng Hyundai na maging matagumpay ang PUV modernization program… Negoshow Oro is just a start of great things to come for Hyundai in CALABARZON.
